Christmas in Rome is magical and there is no reason not to take advantage of this opportunity to be fascinated by iconic stories about the city. The tour is cleverly set up  giving you a mix of historical information and traditional tales walking through famous churches and squares decorated for Christmas time. 
You will start in Piazza del Popolo where you will discover the Twin Churches and their Christmas Nativities. Crossing the Spanish Steps and the Spanish square, you will reach the little Italian Lourdes, the Church of Santa Maria in Via, where you will taste the miraculous holy water. After admiring decorations and anecdotes linked to the history of Piazza Venezia, you will admire the majesty of the Church Santa Maria in Aracoeli and the Holy Child, a sculpture baptized in the Jordan River that in Christmas time is in the middle of the Christmas nativity.
